In former times there was a church-yard and also a well in Kilrodane.

In former times there was a church-yard and also a well in Kilrodane. The remains of them are still to be seen in Mr. Hogan's land. Tradition also tells us that in Kilrodane lived a famous and beautiful lady. A ballad was composed about her, and it went by the name of the "The maid of sweet Kilrodane". There are several forts in the farms of Kilrodane.
