  1. If the smoke of a chimney goes straight up in the air it is a sign that the weather is going to be fine.
When the swallows fly low there is an old belief that the weather is going to be wet.
When the wild geese fly to the sea it is a sign of good weather and when they fly to the land it is the opposite sign.
If the wind whistles through the key hole it is a sign of bad weather. At night when the sky is red it is a sign that the next day will be fine.
