  1. St Patrick had banished every witch and wild animal out of Ireland. One witch hid from him and he never banished her.
    One day he was coming down from Knockpatrick when the witch saw him.
    She caught up a big rock and threw it at him and it just touched his heel. Then he turned round and banished her.
    That rock is still to be seen a few fields away from Knockpatrick.
