- (continued from previous page)Tradition claims, two or three bishops to be buried there, and that those bishops were buried there in the Penal Days. It is said that they were hunted out of their own diocese. Unbaptized chuildren were buried in the "Cillin" There is a priest buried in a fort in Turraree. This fort is in Roger O'Sullivan's land.
Unbaptized children are buried in Clounlehard and in other place near Ballyhahill. The one in Clounleharde is called "Ana-gorp" and the one near Ballyhahill is called "Kileen". People get buried in other graveyards outside the parish graveyard.(continues on next page) - Collection of Prayers
The old people had many small prayers. They said them when going to bed, when they awakened in the morning, and when going to work. This is a prayer they said when going to bed.
"In this bed I lay on to sleep
To God I give my soul to keep,
And if I die before I wake,
To the Blessed Virgin I give my soul to take,
Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,
God bless the bed that I lay on,
