    Here is a story about a Bishop. There was once a Bishop walking in a field, when he saw a big crowd of people standing all together. He came up to them but they all disappeared. He went away, and looked back and he saw them again. The Bishop turned but there was nobody there. He then hurried home and brought back with him two clerks to answer Mass. In this spot there was a big wall, where the Bishop and the boys built and altar.
    The Bishop said Mass, and the clerks answered it. At the last of the Mass when he was saying the Hail Mary all the people appeared and said "This time next year you will be in Heaven with us" and it came to pass, that on that very day the next year he died.
    There was a very holy girl there long ago. She was so holy that people called her "The Real Child of God" There was a forge near her house, and in the morning she used go to the forge for her fire, and bring it in to her house in her apron. The smith used be surprised at her but the girl thought that everyone did the same. One morning she heard a man in the forge talking of the wonderful way she could carry fire in her apron without burning her, and she got proud, for she then found out that no one did what she did. At that minute her apron went on
