  1. Some time ago there was a man in America, who was corresponding with a man in Tullyleague, Glin. Who always gave him news about the place. He liked and he did not like the sort of news he was getting. So he wrote back to him saying, "Mike, don't be telling me that a cat killed a rat, or a horse kicked a man, or a dog bit a man. If it happened that a man bit a dog you can tell it to me".
