    Whooping Cough- Drink the learings of milk drunk by the ferret
    Sore foot- get a dog to rub his tongue slowly over the foot.
    Sore Throat- (a) Fill the bag or stocking with warm bran and put round the neck
    (b) Tie a silk stocking round it at night
    (c ) Gargle with salt and water
    Sore eyes – wash in cold tea
    Warts – Wash a floor with strong soda – and – water (washing soda_ and the wars will disappear
    Rheumatism: Heat an iron in the fire and apply to the shot.
    To pull a tooth. Tie a cord round it and tie it to a smiths anvil.
