  1. Once there was a man who was blind. One day he was standing outside a Church gate and two ladies came towards him. He asked them for a little help. One of the girls gave him sixpence and he said to her "the blessing of God on you." The other girl gave him a shilling and he said "the blessing of and all the saints on you." The girl that gave him the sixpence asked him what was the difference between the two blessings and he replied sixpence.
