There is a cliff in Sheehy's glen, about a mile from Ballyguiltinane school, but in the parish of Newtownsandes in Co. Kerry, which is called the Dropping Rock. It is said that in the penal times, a priest used say Mass very often there. The priest was caught saying Mass one day by the priest hunters. He was hanged from the rock. Since then, it is said there is water dropping continuously from the rock.
