The games I like most are draughts and cards, which I play in the winter nights. There are lots of more in-door games including fetching pennies into a ring, or searching for x. These are played any time during the year. the out-door games I play are tops and marbles and foot-ball, which I play in springtime.

In the year 1888 there lived in Kinnard a woman named Mary Horgan. She went into Hanrahan's fort. No sooner was she inside than she got a pain in her leg. She went to hospital but could not be cured and dies soon after.
