    Local Cures
Go to the garden where the potatoes grow. Get a potato pecked by a crow, put it in your pocket, never let it fall out and you will never get a toothache inside your mouth.
The skin of a boiled potato, as hot as it could be borne, is a very good cure for a sore lip.
