  1. There is a tailor living in Castlemartyr and he works from house to house. There is another living near Inch but he works at home. The material which they use is shop material. Long ago the material was spun around here.
    The tools that they use are a thimble, a sewing machine, a scissors, a needle and thread. Several people in my locality make stocking and they buy the thread in Youghal or Killiagh.
    Mr Curtain earns his living by knitting stockings for the people in the surrounding districts. There is a dressmaker in my townland and she works at home. She makes
