    When churning the churn is put between two rafters but not under one.
    Before closing the churn my mother puts in three drops of holy water saying at the same time "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost Amen".
    It is not right for anyone to bring a piece of a plough into the house while the churn is being made.
