  1. Long ago there lived in a little house by the Churchtown graveyard a man by the name of Tom Keeffe. He was looked upon as a great weaver in the olden times. He used to weave linen and flannel at that time. The farmers of long ago used to take thread to him to weave. He used to weave flannel waistcoats for the men because those were what they used to wear.
