  1. Our Local Patron is Saint Colman. It is said he built the tower in one night. It has been mentioned in the previous pages about Saint Colman building the tower in one night. He built the Protestant Cathedral, and he built a small oratory near the cathedral. The tower, the cathedral and the well which is on top of Kilva Hill are called after him. Every year when the people visit the well they say a rosary while making the rounds.
