    There are a few smaller wells in the district also. There is a well in Mr Creeds land called the wart well. The water is supposed to cure warts. People rub water to the affected parts.

  2. Our Lady's Well

    One day long ago a man was going to Our Lady's Well for water and Our Lady appeared to him and that is why it is called Our Lady's well. There is a stream running from the well and people wash their hands and feet or wherever they have a pain. Many people were cured there and there is a beautiful statue there, presented by a lady from Cobh, who was cured there.
