    be formed. Some people got cured there. A lady from Cove got cured there and put a statue there.
    There are a few smaller wells in the district also. There is a well in Mr Creeds land called the wart well. The water is supposed to cure warts. People rub water to the affected parts.

  2. One day long ago a man was going to Our Lady's Well for water and Our Lady appeared to him and that is why it is called Our Lady's well. There is a stream running from the well and people wash their hands and feet or wherever they have a pain. Many people were cured there and there is a beautiful statue there, presented by a lady from Cobh, who was cured there.
