    On the opposite side an other old ruin called in former days "Bat a gows a public house, where many a fight took place, and its name was known all round the country.
    In those days you should be able to fight, if you were able to drink. It was stated by a clergyman, who was living in this parish where ever the devil was by day, he used to come to Straw Hall by night. Now the hand of time is aften passing over all of them hence you can see the result Ruins.
