  1. When a wedding took place long, there were always about thirty or forty people present.
    Naturally, a number of boys might not get an invitation, but when evening would come they would get together, and gather old cans, old kettles, and old pans.
    They would then proceed to the house where the wedding was held, and gather round it making a great noise until they were invited in, and got a good feast; they would then go away quietly. If they would not get anything at first, they would come again and again, and really shame the people of the house unless they got a good feast.
