  1. The old people long ago, believed that warts could be cured by counting the number of warts, and at the same time rubbing a different stone to each wart and then and then placing the stones in a bag, and taking it to four cross roads and dropping it there.
    It was said that if anyone picked up the bag, may be thinking it was a parcel somebody had dropped; they were then afflicted with the warts.
