Situation most picturesque - overlooking the river and the exquisite scenery towards Queenstown.
2. It is equipped with old furniture which had belonged to a private school; a teacher's desk and a few blackboards are wanted.
3. Reading --- good.
4. Writing --- fair.
5. Spelling --- good.
6. Arithmetic --- fair.
7. Board's Salary £13: Fees £4-19s-10d.
Total £17-19s-10d : Husband is master of the boys' school (downstairs); his income is about £36.
8. Order and cleanliness --- both very good
