  1. There is a well in Mr. Ahern's land, just in the wood. This land was formerly owned by a family named Roberts. Mr. Roberts was avery bad man and hunted priests. During that time money was paid to anyone who killed a priest. On his way to his hut, the priest had to pass this well. While doing so, one night, he was caught and murdered. From that day to this day a black dog is seen coming through the fields from the well on to the road.
