  1. In the parish of Mournabbey a farm is now owned by Mrs. Linehan, where a place is called "Teampallin" which means "The Little Church. In the Penal Days a priest used to say mass there as often as he could. Very few people were able to attend those masses because they were afraid of the English Soldiers. Others always went no matter what would happen.
    The alter where mass used be said can be seen still. A mould of earth and stones is all that remains now. In these late years the place was walled in. A stone is there
