    Michael Knowles remembers a famous mower for Limerick by the name of Jimmy Dwyer. He could mow 2 acres in a day. He would have 1/4 acre cut before breakfast.
    & used get 1/6 an acre for work.
    The Day's work was from sun rise to Dark.

    He remember stealing turnips to have them for breakfast with porridge.
    Going to work turnips & meal were caried for the dinner.
    Food when mowing spuds & quart of milk.
    They worked for about 4/- a week
    The Pound Man wrote the peoples
