cowhouse has two door, a roof of galvanised iron and a cement floor. The cow are tied by ropes around the neck but the cross cows are tied by the horns. I did not ever hear of a branch being hung in the stall to bring luck, "Huff Huff Huff" is said to the cows when calling them.
When calling horses "Cup Cup" is said and the hens "Tuck Tuck Tuck "Feen Feen is said to the ducks and "Goose Goose" is said to the geese. When calling pigs "Hul Hul" or Bon Bon is said to them.
