    Townland. Coill Aodha - 3 míle ó Gleann na Préácáín.
    According to tradition the Fenians brought two cart-loads of arms to Killeagh and dumped them somewhere in the townland. No one knows of the exact spot where the dump is.

    "Brass Pin"
    I wouldn't give a "brass pin" for it.

    "Brass farthing"
    "It isn't worth a "brass farthing."
    = WORTHLESS ARTICLES, OR BARGAINS

    "Brass Tacks"
    "Let us come down to "brass tacks"
    = to smaller details, to the foundation, to the plain truth.
    These three are commonly used (?) in the South.
    The "Cork Examiner" uses "brass tacks" frequently in its leading articles, when discussing political issues.
