Ginger Cayenne pepper
Allspice ClovesTake mushrooms that are quite dry wipe them and break them into small pieces, place them in a large basin in layers sprinkling each with salt leave for three days but stir and mash them often. Now stand in a plan of water on the fire. Place in jar 1 1/2 oz allspice 1/2 oz ginger, 1/4 oz cayenne pepper to each quart of juice. Bring to the boil and continue for 1 1/2hours store in small jars or bottles adding a few cloves to each- Informant
