    This implement was very common some years ago. It was used for graffing furze, and hacking ridges for potatoes.

    Potatoes were planted in ridges by means of a spade the holes were closed with a claimpín.

    This implement is well known
    The reaping hook and flail are gone.
    The woolen wheel and flax wheel have disappeared. The children here did not see a woollen wheel. although the were in use 20 years ago.
    Cards for carding and the other odds & ends connected with household industries have had their day, and nothing remains.
