    cannot be taught in school. This one he remembers well. It is said on Sunday mornings when waking:
    "De bheath-sa chughainn a Dhomnach Beannuighthe
    A tháinig chúghainn tar éis na seachtmhaine
    Bog ár gcos amach go dtí an t-Aifreann
    'S bog ár mbéil chun na breithre beannuighthe"

    Here is another said in bed before going to sleep. He picked it up but does not know where
    "Now I lay down my head to sleep
    To God I give my soul to keep.
