  1. Marriage Customs
    During Shrove time people are married chiefly that is from little Christmas to Lent. If they are not married within that period someone came at night and took them out and warned them.
    It is the custom that girls get married in different coloured clothes. For instance if a girl married in blue she is bound to prove true. If a girl married in white she is bound to prove right. For instance old people say that a person getting married should have 'something old and
