  1. "Four Corner Fool" is played in this way. Four girls stand, one in each corner of the room. A fifth who is called the fool stands in the middle. The girls in the corners exchange places while "the fool" has her back turned. The fool is all the time on the look out trying to get into a vacant corner. If she succeeds, the girl who is left without any corner becomes the fool.
This game is played in a field sometimes, four stones being placed on the ground in the form of a square.

  2. One of the games I play is called "Colours". This is how we play it. A crowd of girls stand against the wall. Then one girl goes around and secretly gives each of the others a colour. Another girl who is called "The Devil" tries to guess the colours. If she guesses a girl's colour correctly that girl will run and the Devil will try to catch her. If she succeeds that girl will be the Devil and the game continues.
