- (continued from previous page)prevents cramps or Rheumatic conditions. Ivy berries are used to clean dark clothes and black dye is made from its leaves. Gorse flowers are used also for dye.
- The most harmful weeds on our land are, the Rag-Weed, the Thistle, the Spoyink, the Laeóe, the lusmidhe. The reason that they are harmful is that they spread rapidly.
Most of these grow on bad land.
All of these weeds that I have mentioned were used in home-made medicines, and now of course are the foundation of medicines sold by the chemists. The farmers(continues on next page)- Collector
