  1. There are several roads in the district around. There is a road from Farahy to Meadstown Cross, and another road from Meadstown Cross to Rockmills where it joins the main road. Another road runs from Meadstown to Shanballymore and is known as the bog road. Thes roads are fairly old.
    When these roads were made the pay the people got was nine pence a day. There was a man from Farahy in the making of one of these
