    Long ago there were eight shoe-makers in Graigue school district...

    Long ago there were eight shoe-makers in Graigue School district (Kildorrery, Co. Cork.) One man named Rice went to all the houses making and repairing boots. Clogs were not made locally.

  2. The farm animals on our farm are - cows heifers, bullocks, a bull, calves, horses pigs and sheep. The domestic animals are cats and dogs.
    The cows' names are:- Jump II, Dwyer, Surprise, Black Dexter, Higgins, Heifer Dall, Curtin, Jumper, Hartnett, Golden Jump, Dual Purpose. The house in which the cows are milked is called the cowhouse. The cows are tied by means of bails.
