finished at the point of the Ahacross road where the mill stream crosses and was much used until about fifty years ago. It is used to the present day but few people go by it. Portions of this path are still to be seen especially at the ends where it meets the road. Near the present bridge on the Ahacross road there was a ford where people crossed the river with cars. There were also stepping-stones on which pedestrians crossed. The Limerick road leads northward from Kildorrery and is the main road to Limerick from Fermoy The Graigue road connects the Cross of Graigue with Carhue Cross.
