- (continued from previous page)This man was sometimes seen in the shape of a bull. Several of these lisses re ploughed and tilled and others cannot be interfered with. Lights were often seen in these places and strange noises were heard in them. If anyone interfered with them long ago they suffered losses of some kind.
- There is a liss on the lands of Mr Patrick Dwane Oldcastletown Kildorrery and another in the land of Mr Patrick Noonan Cullinagh. These are within view of each other. They are round in shape. High white thorn trees grow around the former while the latter is surrounded by an earth fence with furze growing on it Another liss stands in the lands of Mr Michael O Regan Oldcastletown from which Dwane's liss can be seen. There are two in lands of Mr Thomas Drake Oldcastletown which are also within view of each other.(continues on next page)
