One night as we were all sitting around the fire a man named John Callaghan living near Charleville Station, told us a story. he told us that there was a house and in it lived very wealthy people. When the people died other people took possession of the house but they stayed there three days and three nights and why they left was because every night a woman used to come to the house and searach every room and also knock down everything. Everyone that bought the house stayed no longer than a few days. One day two men came and bought the house. When they came to live in it they brought a little dog. When they opened the door of the house the dog started growling. They sat down by the fire that night. One man went out while the other went upstairs. In one of the
