    Cuirim chrois, na mhbeann 'dir mé agus gach aon spioraid atá ar mo shuidhe. Cuirim an Chrois ar ar ceásadh Chríost 'dir mé agus an Trom-luighe.
    "And as I lie on my bed to sleep,
    To God I give my soul to keep.
    If I die before I wake
    To God I give my soul to take.
    St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke, St. John,
    God bless the bed that I lie on.
    If any evil spirits come to me
    Christ Jesus will deliver me.
    There are four corners in my bed,
    There are four angels at my head
    One to guide me, one to guard me
    And two to carry my soul to heaven.
