- (continued from previous page)Beliefs re forge water & sparks: If the sparks fly in a person's direction he or she is supposed to get money. The fumes from the hoofs - supposed to cure asthma.
- Banding of wheels - a big, circular fire with, approx. the same diameter as the wheel-band is made outside. In this the bands are heated until they expand. They are then placed around the wheels & are cooled. Cold water is poured on them.
