  2. It is unlucky to apply remedies for ailments on Monday & it is unlucky to send young children to school (for the first time) on that day. The "Cross-day of the Year" is not known here. Good Friday is a lucky day for setting (& sowing) crops but the ground is not ploughed on May-Day.
