  1. Great Runners (Contd.): The Fitzgibbon who is referred to on page 19 & an Englishman had a challenge. Both 'started' a hare in Gibbingsgrove, Milford, Ráth Luirc & followed it to Kilmurry Bog (about 4 miles distant). The hare became tired & ran around a rick. The Englishman followed the hare's course but Fitzgibbon ran round the rick in the opposite direction. The hare jumped to his chest Fitzgibbon caught it & won the challenge.
