  1. Garrienderk is a townland situated about 1½ miles from Ráth-luirch. The old way of spelling the district was, Garryderk. There was about 30 houses in Garrienderk long ago now there are only 21 houses there. There are about 5 men over 70 there. They cannot speak Irish. One of there men is my Grand-Uncle. He once told me a story about a ghost and himself.
