  1. There is a farmer living at Cregane Rathluirc. His name is Joseph Leahy. He was a great jumper. At sports meetings he used to compete in the high jump, long jump and the pole jump. His brothers Tim and Tom were also champion jumpers at all sport meetings in the South of Ireland. He had two other brothers Con and Dan who went to America and were unbeaten in all jumping competitions there
