  1. LOCAL HEROES
    There was a man living in this locality named O’Riordan. He was a great weight thrower. Every time he would want farm implements repaired he would take them himself to the forge.
    Every time he used to go to the forge he used to be lifting ploughs, harrows and heavy wheels. He overtaxed is strength and died a young man.
