  1. STRANGE ANIMALS
    In Liscarroll Village a cat and a lion are supposed to be seen minding the gold gate which is buried in Liscarroll Castle.
    In Mount Corbett fort gold and silver utensils are buried. One night a man was passing the fort about ten o’clock and he saw a monkey sitting on the height in which the gold is supposed to be buried.
