The windows and the orphans oppressed by dire despair
And bending neath misfortune all thither would regain.
Their grief their woe would vanish before this heavenly man.

All sadness poor and friendless by poverty run down
Would find relief quite endless in the saint of blest Newtown.
The wants of these poor creatures he with Charity supplied.
