  1. There was a monastery in Kilabraher long ago. It was called the church of the brothers. It was in the graveyard The ruins are still to be seen in the graveyard. That is why it is called Cill-a-braher
    General tombs in graveyard.
    Killabraher graveyard is situated where once was a monastery. It was done away with in the penal times. The Monks were banished and some were killed. Even to the present day there is a dark stain on the road where it is said that one of the Monks was killed.
    Not far from the churchyard there is a cave. It is supposed that immenses wealth was
