  1. Crann-a-Cealla is an Historical field. There is a tree the shape of a deer in it.
    There is an old ruin. There is also a well It was a Blessed well long ago If anyone took a bit of the tree it would not burn. It is called the tree of the valley.
    In the year 1916 many soldiers on the run were found there.
    It is owned by Robert Keane of Kilmagoura.
    In the ruin there are head stones. It was a grave yard long ago
    There were many wild goats living there long ago.
    That is how the townland got the name Kilmagoura
