  1. The animals in our farm are:- Cows, Calves, Pigs, Bonhams, Sheep, Goats, Horses, and a Donkey. All the cows have got names, namely, Drom, Sullivan, Kanturk, Kerry, Foley, Brindley, Maol, Dexter.
    When the cows are driven from one place to another, the person in charge is constantly saying or shouting "How, How, How". The term used in regard to calves is "Suky, Suky"
    The cowhouse is a long, low building with narrow openings in the walls to admit light and air. This cowhouse is provided with two doors, one at each end, and inside there is a special 'bale' for each cow. In some cowhouses in the district cows are tied by the neck by means of a chain This chain is fastened to a beam of timber which runs parallel
