  1. One night Rev. Mr. O'Keeffe who was Curate in Glantane about twenty-five years ago ordered his servant to harness the pony. When he was about to start, the boy asked him where would he drive him to. The priest said "let the horse go where he will".
After travelling a few miles, the horse stopped at a farmer's yard. Just then the man of the house came out and said to the priest, "you are just in time, Father". The priest entered the house; the woman of the house was dying. The priest administered to her the Sacraments. The woman died during the night.
On the way home the priest told the boy that he did not know where to go to, but he heard several knocks at the window before he got out of bed.
